This might be the most ostentatious Korean bat flip of all time
Jae-Gyun Hwang of the Korean Baseball Organization's Lotte Giants tied a game with a home run and celebrated with an epic bat flip.
Despite Yasiel Puig's best efforts, Korea sets the gold standard when it comes to bat flips. In the Korean Baseball Organization, bat flips are as essential to home runs as trotting around the bases.
We've seen plenty of good ones this year, but it's tough to top the one Lotte's Jae-Gyun Hwang unleashed in Thursday's game against the NC Dinos.
Lotte was trailing by a run in the ninth inning when Hwang came up to bat. The pitcher threw an 80 mph hanging curve ball and Hwang crushed it down the leftfield line. He paused and watched to see if it stayed fair. When it did, he tossed his bat high into the night sky.

The Dinos won in the bottom of the ninth, though.
