Marshawn Lynch is not releasing his biopic because it is ‘terrible’
Back in February the trailer for an upcoming Marshan Lynch biopic called Family First, starring Lynch as himself was released surprising many who had not heard that the project existed, and Lynch who did not know a clip was ready to be released.
It turns out the promo reel was released without Lynch's consent, and the running back has blocked the film from ever being seen.
The film was directed by family friend Mario Bobino, but the man known as Beast Mode was not happy with the final product, as his agent told Rolling Stone “[Bobino] did a terrible job, and the film will never be released.”
The filmmaker told Rolling Stone that he regrets releasing the trailer without Lynch's approval, but that he hopes to repair his relationship with the Seahawks star, while also writing a screenplay about the making of Family First, which Bobino put nearly $20,000 of his own money into.
The trailer for the film has been taken offline but can still be seen over at World Star Hip-Hop's website.
