Rob Gronkowski says he only read 80% of his own book

While on a tour to promote his own book, Rob Gronkowski said he's only read 80 percent of it.

New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski has kept himself busy this offseason, including a recent media tour to promote his new book, It's Good to be Gronk. Gronk's promotion of the book is particularly impressive considering, as he revealed in a radio interview, he hasn't even finished reading it. 

"About like 80% of it," Gronkowski told Sirius XM's Mad Dog Sports Radio's Maria Menounos when asked if he's read the book, which he authored along with help from Jason Rosenhaus. "I'm not going to lie about it."

Gronkowski's book details the on-field and off-the-field life of one of the NFL's biggest personalities. Gronkowski was the 2014 NFL Comeback Player of the Year, helping lead the Patriots to a Super Bowl title. 

Gronk will never be known as a scholar, but whether it's his own book or others, he could help himself by doing some more reading. If anything, it would help him out the next time he's on a game show.
