In an appearance on the first episode of the Awesome Boring Podcast, hosted by writer Adam Davidson and director Adam McKay, Nowitzki stopped by to reveal the origin of his musical shooting technique and that the song he most frequently sang when he was first in the league was actually Counting Crows hit “Mr. Jones.”
