Now the Houston Astros affiliate has an offer on the table from Taco Bell that would net all of Fresno a free taco at the chain if the team makes the name change permanent.
Hey @FresnoGrizzlies. Change your name to the #FresnoTacos permanently and we’ll buy tacos for all of Fresno. Deal?

The team joked that its decision would depend on whether it is getting hard or soft shell tacos.

Considering how wonderful the options at Taco Truck Throwdown looked, it seems like the people of Fresno may be doing just fine on the taco front without Taco Bell’s help.
