Ice Cube treats Raiders to early 'Straight Outta Compton' screening

Wednesday night may end up being one of the season's highlights for the Oakland Raiders.
The moribund franchise hasn't given fans much to cheer for in the past decade, but loyal supporter Ice Cube is still giving to the team. On Wednesday, the former N.W.A. member treated the Raiders to an early screening of Straight Outta Compton, the N.W.A biopic.

The Raiders actually played in Oakland during the height of N.W.A, which explains Cube's intense fanhood. Back in the day, it wasn't uncommon to see the group donning Oakland Raiders gear.

At the time, it was a match made in heaven—the bad boys of rap and the bad boys of the NFL.
Now, Ice Cube is a family movie star and the Raiders haven't finished over .500 since 2002.
