A Bowling Green lineman played dead after losing his shoe.

Bowling Green defensive lineman Mike Minns is more than a football player. 

He's a thinker. An intellectual. An improviser. 

Minns was faced with the prospect of running a play without a shoe during the Falcons’ game against Tennessee on Saturday. 

At first, he tried running toward the sideline to take himself out of the play. When Minns realized he wouldn't make it, he did what few of us would think to do. He played dead on the field:
