The Redskins cut kicker Kai Forbath after the season opener. Now season ticket holders will have the opportunity to kick field goals after the game. Coincidence? Probably not. 

While this may not seem like much more than the football equivalent of running the bases post-game, Dan Snyder’s franchise does plentyofthingsworthyofridicule. Signing some weekend warrior to be the placekicker wouldn’t be that far fetched. 

Forbath’s replacement, Dustin Hopkins, had better not sign a long-term lease.
