The Philadelphia Daily Newsis not the first to ask for Pope Francis’s help with the Eagles either, as before the season even began fans were sending around a petition to ask the Vicar of Christ to bless quarterback Sam Bradford’s knees to ward off any future injuries.

His Holiness arrives in the United States from Cuba on Tuesday, and will spend time in Washington, D.C., and New York City, where he will perform mass at Madison Square Garden, before arriving in Philadelphia on Saturday. [Buzzer]
