Baby born during Padres game at Petco Park

The Padres gained a new fan Thursday night when a woman gave birth to a child at Petco Park during a game against the Giants.
We welcomed a baby boy to the world in Palm Court Plaza earlier this evening. First baby to be born at Petco Park! 👶

The woman was unable to make it to the hospital, so she had to settle for the Palm Court Plaza in the San Diego ballpark, which is a considerably less comfortable place to have a baby.
Loving that “Born to be Wild” is playing while Petco announced that a baby was born in the Palm Court Plaza today.

Now I feel so lonely. A baby was born in Petco Park before a no hitter was thrown. This franchise is really weird.

The team did not announce the name of the newborn, but let's just pretend the parents named the child after Tony Gwynn or Trevor Hoffman.
