Watch: ABC cuts to unsuspecting ESPN anchors during interview

After Clemson’s 24–22 upset victory over No. 6 Notre Dame, things got weird on ABC.
Right in the middle of head coach Dabo Swinney’s emotional postgame interview, the network cut to two unsuspecting SportsCenter anchors who were silently preparing for their show.
All sound was lost, and an entire nation watched two men look up information on their mobile devices.
The move came after Swinney had finished thanking God, and his father.
ESPN senior director of PR Keri Potts apologized for what she called “an error in TV transmission.”
As a result of an error in TV transmission, we inadvertently missed 12 seconds of Dabo Swinney's postgame interview. We apologize.

Full Dabo interview was shown on WatchESPN at 11:56pmET and will be shown in full during upcoming halftime of Oregon / Colorado game on ESPN
