What’s the appropriate way for Jose Bautista to leave Rogers Centre after his colossal three-run homer? Carried on the shoulders of his teammates? In a stretch limousine? Crowd surfing through the streets? Nah, Joey Bats rolled home on a scooter. 

And it’s definitely not a imposter. Bautista himself confirmed that’s him in the photo.

Now we just have to wait for the detractors who say riding a scooter is disrespectful to the game.
