Kansas City area students getting day off for Royals parade

As if the Royals had not done enough to make the children of Kansas City happy with their World Series victory, they now are responsible for them getting the day off school on Tuesday.
Several area schools have decided to give pupils a chance to go see their baseball heroes celebrate the team’s first championship in 30 years, according to KMBC-9.
