Bills win title of drunkest fans in NFL
The Bills have not appeared in the playoffs yet this century, but they still have managed to grab an important title: NFL’s drunkest fanbase.
According to the study below, Buffalo fans had an average BAC of .076 on game days, which put them ahead of the second-place Lions, who averaged an .069 when their team left the field.
The ranking comes using BACtrack, a smartphone accessory that measures blood alcohol content, and comparing it against Twitter’s NFL fandom map, so it has hardly followed the scientific method, but the results are still pretty entertaining.

The not-so-empirical data backs up the anecdotal findings of author Sean MacDonald, who visited all 32 stadiums and deemed the Bills fans the most sloshed, and they have lived up to that reputation with tailgating antics this season.
A team’s on-field performance is surprisingly found not to be a factor in the study, as the struggling Titans fans had a BAC of .021 and the undefeated Bengals have a similarly low .015.
