Warriors owner alarmingly vague about bringing trophy to bed

Warriors owner Joe Lacob and his fiancée slept with the Larry O’Brien trophy.

A new profile of Warriors owner Joe Lacob in Haute Living opens with an unsettling anecdote about a non-traditional love triangle. 

Lacob says he was dead-set on sleeping with the Larry O’Brien trophy the night the Warriors beat the Cavs to win the title. Nothing wrong with that. Andre Iguodala dozed off with the MVP trophy in hand. Jason Dufner slept with the PGA Championship trophy in 2013. It’s pretty normal. 

So Lacob bringing the trophy to bed with his longtime fiancée Nicole Curran is no big deal, but his startlingly ambiguous retelling of the events of that night is what has the internet abuzz. 

“I’ll leave it to the imagination,” he says, grinning. “We had a lot of fun with it.”

Ugh, Joe. My man. What’s that supposed to mean?
