10-year-old Jaden Newman scored 57 points in a high school varsity game.

Scoring over 50 points in a high school varsity game would easily stand out on any postgame stat sheet.

That’s just what happened for Jaden Newman of Downey Christian in Orlando, Florida, when she put up 57 points during her game on Tuesday.

She also happens to be 10 years old...and in sixth grade. 

What were you accomplishing when you were Jaden’s age? Most likely watching Disney Channel or studying for a geography test.

However, this isn’t the first time Newman has made headlines. Last June, she received an official recruiting letter from the University of Miami women’s basketball program at the tender age of nine.

Imagine what will happen when she turns 11.
