UCLA gives away eyeglass frames on ‘Russell Westbrook night’

UCLA got creative with its giveaway on Russell Westbrook night at Pauley Pavilion.
The Bruins welcomed home the program’s superstar alum by giving away eyeglass frames resembling Westbrook’s fashion-forward eyewear of choice. The former UCLA star did, after all, make the largest donation ever to the school by a former student-athlete, so the least they can do to say thanks is swag out all of the fans. Well, that and name the practice court after him. But not everyone gets to enjoy that, so...
Westbrook and his wife Nina, a former UCLA women’s basketball player, sat courtside with his parents at UCLA’s Pac-12 home opener against Arizona, and would be honored during the game.

Westbrook popped up for a halftime interview, and handed out some glasses. Not a bad look for fellow Bruin great Bill Walton, if you ask me.
