Empire State Building honors Alabama for winning national title

The Empire State Building honored Alabama for its national championship win over Clemson by lighting up the tower’s spire in the Tide’s crimson and white.

Before the game was over, the tower was split between Clemson and Alabama colors.

It’ll only stay that way for 30 minutes, or about two minutes for each of Bama’s 16 titles, then it’s back to the traditional white lighting.
It’s not as cool as that time the building’s lights kept score in the Super Bowl, but it’ll have to do.
