Chipper Jones’s wintertime rescue of Freddie Freeman is now a bobblehead
Chipper Jones's rescue of Freddie Freeman in a snowstorm will be memorialized by the Atlanta Braves on May 28 of the 2016 season with a bobblehead.
Two years ago a winter storm created endless gridlock on many of Atlanta’s roads and among those stuck on the streets was Freddie Freeman, who tweeted out that he had been sitting in traffic for five and a half hours.
Luckily his former teammate and avid outdoorsman Chipper Jones saw the Braves first baseman’s cry for help, suited up in his finest camo and hopped on his ATV to rescue Freeman.

Now this important moment in Atlanta baseball history will be memorialized by the team on May 28 of the 2016 season with a bobblehead featuring the two stars riding an ATV, according to the Braves’ promotions calendar.
