A young fan was seen holding up a sign at the game that read “Bobby, Dad said if you score a goal we get a puppy!,” and after Ryan scored, TSN’s Shawn Simpson tweeted out that the dad would honor his promise, and even name the dog after the forward.

Luckily for the family of four, Ryan held himself to just one goal during the 3–0 win, keeping the new additions to the household to a minimum.
