Welcome to the Olympic year!

Swedish pole vaulter Armand Duplantis provided a glimpse of the future of the sport as he used a hoverboard to vault 10 feet.

Duplantis, 16, holds the pole vaulting world record for every age group from 7 to 12 years old. He most likely now also holds the hoverboard pole vaulting world record.

We may have received our first glimpse of what the future may look like at the 2024 Olympics.
