ECHL team to wear zombie jerseys, infection to spread after each period
A minor-league hockey team is rocking some pretty cool zombie jerseys.
Minor-league teams are known for sporting some pretty outrageous threads, but these new jerseys from the Toledo Walleye of the ECHL may take the cake.
The Walleye will be sporting zombie jerseys during a March 12 game against the Norfolk Admirals. The Walleye will wear a different uniform for each period, with signs of a zombie infection noticeably spreading each subsequent period.
The zombie night will also include actors from “The Walking Dead” milling around the arena and meting with fans. I hope the players take the festivities to heart, and wear zombie makeup during the game.
