MLB hosting Snapchat Day at spring training, debuts SnapBat selfie stick
The MLB has been around in some form or another since 1876, but the league wants you to know that this does not mean it is not hip with all the fleek millennials dude!
To give fans a new vantage point on spring training, baseball has announced it will be holding a Snapchat day across all games next Friday, allowing players to take their phones into the dugouts before and during the games, and even creating a special “SnapBat Selfie Stick” to allow players to better capture the action.

The social media platform and MLB also announced a multiyear extension to their partnership, which includes an “MLB Wednesdays” segment throughout the 2015 season. The new agreement will give the league a portion of ads sold in the game stories featured throughout the season, according to the International Business Times.
