Prince stopped by the Thunder-Warriors game to see Stephen Curry
The Warriors and Thunder squared off at Oracle Arena on Thursday night for a rematch of the instant classic game from last Saturday.
Among those clamoring to see more magic from Stephen Curry was music icon Prince, who was in Oakland after performing in the city earlier in the week.

The “Partyman” singer announced a pair of shows in the city featuring only him and a piano a few weeks earlier, and he greeted the crowd on Sunday by shouting out the sharpshooter, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.
“What can you truly count on besides Steph Curry?” Prince rhetorically asked the sold-out audience at Oakland’s Paramount Theatre on Sunday night, Feb. 28. “And you can count on Steph Curry.”
The Under the Cherry Moon director’s presence courtside did not go unnoticed by Curry, who posted a purple-hued photo tribute on Twitter after Golden State’s 121–106 victory over Oklahoma City.
Curry had been listed as questionable after missing a game earlier this week, but the point guard started and scored 33 points in 37 minutes in the team’s 55th victory of the season.
