Yoenis Cespedes receives replica of childhood bike from Mets employee
Yoenis Cespedes’ latest tricked-out vehicle is of the pedal-powered variety.
After spending the first week of spring training showing up in progressively more extravagant cars (and then a horse), Cespedes added one more custom set of wheels to his collection.

Of course, the bike was designed by Alex Vega, the Miami-based car guru that has worked on Yo’s previous rides. The story of where the bike came from is a bit more interesting.
According to TMZ, a Mets employee named Theresa owned the bike, which is similar to one Cespedes had as a child in Cuba. She took it to Vega and paid him to have it turned into something unique. Vega decided to give it the same color scheme as the Jeep he made for him. In return, Cespedes paid for the upgrades Vega made on Theresa’s SUV.
