Today in branding exercises, FC Barcelona made a tribute video for Kobe Bryant.

Bryant, as you may have heard, is playing in his last professional basketball game Wednesday night. Bryant actually spent much of his childhood in Europe, where he grew to be quite the soccer fan, and a supporter of Barcelona specifically.

Barca’s tribute video includes testimonials from stars Andres Iniesta and Gerard Pique, and the kind of rousing score found in every single tribute video ever made.

If Kobe doesn’t score a basket with his feet on Wednesday, I don’t know if we can believe he truly appreciated this video.
