Philadelphia police officer Jesse Hartnett had a surprise for his girlfriend Lilly after throwing out the first pitch at Monday’s Phillies home opener.

The Phillies honored Hartnett, who was shot three times during an ambush attack in January, by having him throw a ceremonial first pitch. On his way off the field, Hartnett dropped to one knee and asked Lilly to marry him.

Of course she said yes.
