Formal and Fresh

As sad as we are that the Black Mamba will no longer be tearing up the court, we are devastated that he’ll no longer be strutting his stylish self on the runway during arena arrivals. He’s made it a point to get #turntup when it comes to fashion and we love how he makes it a formal affair. He’s polished, suave and undeniably sexy in that power suit.  To get Kobe’s look, invest in a slim fit grey suit like this or this. Pair with a solid black dress shirt and white pocket square like this or this for contrast. Take some pointers from this history-maker and make a statement on your feet by grabbing some ombre monk-strap loafers like these or these.  As they say, ‘we hate to see him go, but we love to watch him leave.’ Especially in that outfit.

Casual and Cool

Only Kobe could make shopping in Paris look this cool and effortless. He’s sporting one of our all-time favorite styles–denim on denim–and incorporates one of this season’s hottest trends: white low-top sneakers.  To mimic his impeccable fashion flavor, start with a gray beanie hat like this. Add a chambray denim button down shirt like this (which is an amazing steal at $58; hurry and shop before they’re gone!). Add some dimension by wearing a simple white v-neck tee underneath. Stick to a pair of dark denim jeans like these. Finish the look with some classic white sneakers like these or these if you’re splurging! Pardon our French, but hot damn the boy looks good.

Nailed the Neutrals

Thought cardigans weren’t cool? Guess again! This Laker legend shows us how to make preppy, contemporary and edgy styles merge into one dope look. To try your hand, you’ll need a shawl collar white cardigan, similar here. Add a green t-shirt and some grey chinos for a perfect spring outfit. Last but not least, stay mellow with some yellow sneakers like these. It’s been a pleasure watching our man’s fashion evolve throughout the years and we’ll make sure to follow his retirement style; we have a feeling it won’t disappoint.
