The Cubs have had a lot of fun with veteran catcher David Ross as he plays his way through one final season in the major leagues before hanging up his spikes for good.

Young sluggers Kris Bryant and Anthony Rizzo have started an Instagram account chronicling “Grandpa Rossy” and his #YearLongRetirementParty, and the team also bought the geriatric catcher a Rascal to help him get around spring training.

Now Ross is returning the favor by trying to cast his vote for his teammates but his technology may need an upgrade first.

Cubs fan have launched several players, including Rizzo and Bryant, into the lead in this year’s balloting for the Midsummer Classic.
