Mason Plumlee handed out money on the streets of Indonesia

Earlier this week, Coconuts Jakarta (really!) reported on two mysterious foreigners who were handing out money on the streets of Jakarta, Indonesia.
Our friends over at Coconuts soon got to the bottom of the case, and it turns out one of the foreigners was none other than Portland Trail Blazers center Mason Plumlee! The center was in Jakarta doing some humanitarian work and was struck in traffic during the incident. He told Coconuts he “meant no disrespect,” and handed out the money hoping it would help move along traffic.
You’d certainly think no one in Jakarta would disrespected at the thought of free money. A police spokesman told Coconuts that Plumlee didn’t break any laws by handing out the cash. Here’s a photo of Plumlee doing the deed:
