13.1 miles is a far way to run. It would be hard to run that far at any pace let alone in one hour and 17 minutes. That feat would be made even more difficult if you were hindered by wearing a pair of dress shoes, but that is what Juris Sileniekis did while also managing to beat the rest of the field as the recent Hotlanta Half Marathon.

The former Syracuse track star was sponsored by Wolf and Shepherd and donned a pair of the shoe company’s Honey Cap Toe lace-up shoes for the run.

The company claims to have “All the comfort of a running shoe nearly concealed in classic style,” and now they have a world record to back up that claim.

Honestly, having run the race in dress socks is just as impressive as the dress shoes to me.
