Why the hell did Johnny Cueto share a photo of his dead horse?

Johnny! What the hell would you do that?

This is not the way we wanted to start our holiday weekend.

Johnny Cueto’s horse, last seen dancing happily on his farm in the Dominican Republic, is dead.

This is sad to hear, but what’s even more upsetting is the way Cueto broke the news—with a photo collage on Instagram featuring two images of the lifeless horse lying on the ground. (You can see it here, if that’s your thing.)

Johnny, my man, what the hell? Why would you think we’d want to see that?

Let’s choose to remember Cueto’s horse in happier times.

He’s prancing in the big farm in the sky now.

Cueto will be pitching with heavy heart on Friday in Arizona.
