Shaq had a custom mattress made to fit his giant body

If you have ever seen Shaquille O’Neal you have probably noticed that he is gigantic, which made him an excellent basketball player but has made other aspects of his life kind of annoying, including shopping for a mattress that could fit his 7'1" frame.

Last March, Shaq found a comfortable bed at a store but even a king was undersized, so he hopped on his Instagram account and shared a video of him dozing in the bed and asking Tempur-Pedic if they could make a model that fit him.

The mattress maker jumped at the request and recently delivered a 72" by 98" mattress to the Hall of Fame big man complete with his Shaq Dunkman logo. That is 14 inches longer than the already sizeable California King size.

​During an appearance on MTV Cribs during his playing career, the former MVP showed off his gigantic 15' by 30' Superman-themed bed, which, like his current bed, was probably very, very difficult to find sheets for.

Shaq’s love of gigantic things extends beyond beds though, as he recently was featured in an episode of Tanked where he purchased a gigantic custom aquarium for his home.
