Alex Rodriguez looks back with high school throwback Thursday photo
Alex Rodriguez shares a throwback Thursday photo ahead of his final game.
Alex Rodriguez’s career has been as impressive as it has been controversial, and on the eve of his final game as a major league baseball player, the Yankees star took a look back to where it all started by sharing a photo from his days at Westminster Christian High School.
Rodriguez will retire and take an organizational role with New York after Friday night’s game at home against the Rays, putting an end to a career that saw him hit 696 home runs, and win three MVP awards while appearing in 2782 games.
On Wednesday night Rodriguez found his way into the lineup as a pinch hitter for the Yankees against the Red Sox, and was greeted by resounding boos from the Boston crowd, as New York defeated its longtime rivals 9–4.
