Hard Knocks has led us to believe that all big NFL news is delivered during dramatic meetings in the coach’s office. Not for Carson Wentz.

Wentz was named as the Eagles’ starting quarterback on Monday, beating out veteran backup Chase Daniel. When Wentz learned of the decision, he wasn’t even at the Eagles’ facility. He was out shooting birds.

Extra Mustard has obtained this exclusive photograph of Wentz just moments before the call from Doug Pederson.

Hopefully Wentz kept his phone on vibrate, so as not to scare away the geese.
