Jesse Chavez and Josh Ravin closed out a game at Chavez Ravine
This is the only interesting thing about the Dodgers’ blowout win over the Diamondbacks.

The Dodgers and D-Backs played a pretty unremarkable game last night. Kenta Maeda pitched well, Zack Grienke did not. Whatever.
The game was pretty much over after a six-run fifth inning for the Dodgers, but the most interesting thing was what happened in the last two innings.
Jesse Chavez pitched a scoreless eighth, and then Josh Ravin closed it out in the ninth! Don’t get it? Maybe this will clear things up:

Chavez. Ravin. The Dodgers play at Chavez Ravine.
Yes, it’s dumb, maybe even dumber than this James Shields coincidence.
