The Cubs may be in the World Series, but that won’t stop them from celebrating Halloween.
Manager Joe Maddon told Fox Sports’ Ken Rosenthal that he’ll actually be encouraging his players to dress up on Monday as the team travels to Cleveland ahead of Tuesday’s Game 6. The team got a shipment of suits.
“We have to celebrate Halloween on the airplane,” Maddon said, so matter-of-factly. He added that he won’t be down at his house in Tampa to hand out candy.
Maddon also put up a giant sign in the clubhouse, asking his players to dress up for the flight.
But I thought they didn’t believe in ghosts.
