Martellus Bennett Forced to Sleep in Packers Locker Room Before Training Camp Opens
Martellus Bennett’s first training camp with the Packers is off to an unusual start.
Bennett reported to camp late Tuesday night only to find he couldn’t check in to his dorm room at St. Norbert College. Instead, he spent the night having a one-man slumber party in the Packers’ locker room. At least he looked like he was having a good time.
(Just a warning, he does swear in the video.)
“This sleeping on the floor s--- doesn’t bother me,” Bennett explained. “I like to sleep on the floor from time to time.”
He was, however, afraid there might be ghosts in there with him.
The Packers begin their training camp at St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin, this week.
Bennett, 30, will be entering his first season with Green Bay after previous stints with the Cowboys, Giants, Bears, and Patriots.
Last season, in his one and only campaign with New England, he caught 55 passes for 701 yards and seven touchdowns, helping the Pats to the Super Bowl championship.
