Bills’ Gabe Davis Tosses His Dog Into Snowbank (Video)

The receiver tried to make the most out of the blizzard by having some fun with his French bulldog, Ghost.

A massive snowstorm has left many Bills players holed up in their houses, as they await word on the team’s plans to get out of Buffalo and to Detroit for this weekend’s moved game against the Browns. While they wait, a few members of the team have decided to have some fun in the snow.

Among those who braved the outdoors when the storm lessened was wide receiver Gabe Davis, who brought his dog, Ghost, along for the ride. To show off just how much snow had fallen near his home, Davis tossed a jacket-wearing Ghost into a nearby snowbank, causing the French bulldog to almost completely disappear into the white abyss.

Davis quickly ran to scoop up Ghost, who didn’t appear all that frazzled by the experience. He then dropped him for another soft landing before the end of the video.

Davis was far from the only Bills player who appeared to be making the most out of the snowy situation. Dion Dawkins, Greg Van Roten and Dawson Knox also showed off their views of the snowfall, while Matt Barkley posted a video of him preparing to go out in the elements to shovel his way out of his front door.

Should the Bills players and staffers be able to leave their homes Saturday morning, the team is scheduled to leave from Buffalo Niagara International Airport at 3:30 p.m. ET. The tarmac, which still had 25 inches of snow on it in the morning, has been cleared which bodes well for the club’s ability to get out of Buffalo in the afternoon.

Once the Bills land in Detroit, they’ll have a quick turnaround for a 1 p.m. ET kickoff against the Browns on Sunday afternoon.
