George Kittle Tries to Sing About the 49ers’ Season at NFL Honors

The tight end sang a San Francisco-themed rendition of “My Life Would Suck Without You” by Kelly Clarkson.
In this story:

Since Kelly Clarkson hosted Thursday night’s NFL Honors, it was only fitting that some of the NFL players in attendance sang some of her greatest hits.

The first player to sing the karaoke version of one of Clarkson’s songs was 49ers tight end George Kittle. He sang a rendition of her hit “My Life Would Suck Without You,” but it included 49ers themed lyrics.

Let’s just say, it’s a good thing Kittle is a football player.

“Yes, our season’s over, and yes, that last game blew, but Brock [Purdy], you should still feel proud, we wouldn’t be there without you,” Kittle sang. “Christian McCaffrey, dude can run, catch and pass, but I prefer Nick Bosa throwing [Dak] Prescott on his a--.”

The audience enjoyed laughing at Kittle’s rendition. He earned a large round of applause after the song, too.

The lyrics definitely summed up the 49ers’ season, which ended in the NFC championship after the team lost to the Eagles following QB Brock Purdy’s early injury.
