Country star Chris Stapleton performed the National Anthem at Super Bowl LVII on Sunday, Feb. 12.

The eight-time Grammy Award winner is known for his sultry and raspy voice, and the crowd went wild for his rendition of the National Anthem on Sunday.

Sporting his famous beard and long hair, Stapleton wowed audiences across the country with his singing ahead of the ChiefsEagles matchup.

Stapleton was the third consecutive country singer to perform the National Anthem on NFL’s biggest stage. In 2022, country artist Mickey Guyton performed, while country star Eric Church sang with soul singer Jazmine Sullivan in 2021.

The 44-year-old is most known for his song “Tennessee Whiskey,” which is a cover of David Allan Coe’s 1981 song that Stapleton recorded in 2015.

His 2015 album “Traveller” was voted the top country album of the decade by Billboard.
