Eli Manning, Michael B. Jordan Recreate Iconic OBJ Catch

The actor lived out his dreams as a lifelong Giants fan.
In this story:

Actor Michael B. Jordan completed the “greatest catch in Giants history, maybe NFL history,” as former Giants quarterback Eli Manning stated, when he recreated one of the most memorable plays in the franchise’s history.

Jordan joined the former quarterback on The Eli Manning Show to fully embrace his MBJ status by mimicking former Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., who is also known as OBJ. As a lifelong Giants fan, the moment was special for Jordan.

The actor, who is promoting his upcoming film “Creed III,” suited up in full pads and a uniform and played with Manning in MetLife Stadium for the episode.

Manning, who threw the famous catch to Beckham in 2015, was even prepared to recreate the play with Jordan. Though the catch was nearly identical, the actor wasn’t able to catch the ball with one hand like Beckham did.

Jordan got to experience a whole day being a Giants player. After recreating the play, he completed interviews in the locker room and spoke about “winning the game.”
