Reds’ Joey Votto Makes Amazing Prediction for 2023 MLB Season

The former MVP dropped one of the wildest predictions of all time.
In this story:

Reds star Joey Votto is back for his 17th season in MLB, and he’s predicting this campaign will be unlike any other. After MLB asked its fans for bold 2023 predictions on Instagram, Votto hit the comment section with an absolute doozy of a projection, which includes the first recorded contact with aliens.

Among the slew of humorous predictions Votto shared, the 39-year-old indicated that Cincinnati will win the World Series after posting a 12-2 record during the regular season, which will end after a five-month hiatus due to the aforementioned alien contact.

Oh, and to top things off, Votto predicts that he will be depart Earth in an alien spaceship—never to be seen again.

Well, MLB asked for bold predictions, and Votto absolutely nailed the assignment, constructing the most obscure and bonkers forecast in recent memory.

Considering the Reds got off to a 2-13 start last season, the boldest prediction from Votto’s eye-opening response may be the dramatic turnaround he foresees for the club.

Cincinnati won just 62 games last season, but perhaps with some assistance from extraterrestrials, the Reds could be contenders in 2023.

This also could be Votto’s final MLB season, and what better way to drift into retirement than aboard an alien spaceship as a World Series champion?
