NFL Fans Had Lots of Jokes About Daniel Jones’s Monster New Deal With Giants

Daniel Jones and the New York Giants came right down to the wire, barely beating the Tuesday deadline to use the franchise tag by agreeing to a monster four-year, $160 million extension with the possibility to earn up to another $35 million in incentives.
That’s not too bad for a quarterback who has won just one playoff game in his four-year NFL career.
Jones, however, is coming off a fine season in which he picked up that first playoff win on the road over the Vikings, before getting blown out by the Eagles in the divisional round.
But yeah, that is a lot of money for a QB who hasn’t had the most success.
