Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons is no stranger to a good social media trolling, and amid the Aaron Rodgers trade rumors with the Jets, the Dallas star pass rusher made the most of an opportunity to poke fun at quarterback Zach Wilson.

With Jets defensive back Sauce Gardner, wide receiver Garrett Wilson and running back Breece Hall making their pitch to Rodgers by posting a video of the three of them burning a cheesehead from Lambeau, Parsons couldn’t help but think of Wilson.

Parsons quote tweeted the video of Wilson’s three teammates making the pitch to Rodgers, and posted a video of his own that showed the Jets quarterback standing awkwardly with his fellow prospects at the 2021 draft. The draft video went viral at the time, and Parsons saw the perfect opportunity to repost it with crying laughing emojis.

It remains to be seen whether or not Rodgers will ultimately land in New York, but members of the Jets front office, including owner Woody Johnson, met with Rodgers in California early this week. The Jets reportedly felt that the meeting went well and put New York “on the brink” of acquiring him from the Packers.

Now the NFL world waits as one of the league’s top quarterbacks decides what to do with his future. If Rodgers continues playing, it seems increasingly likely that it will be in New York and not in Green Bay, where he has spent his entire career.
