Clark Kellogg Has Unfortunate Slip About TCU During Men’s ’Selection Sunday’ Show

The CBS basketball analyst had an interesting name for the TCU mascot.

The men’s NCAA tournament selection show is a spectacle each year, as various networks try to squeeze as much information about each team making the field as possible in a short time window.

Unfortunately for Clark Kellogg, as he was quickly trying to get his point across regarding one tournament team on Sunday, he slipped up in hilarious fashion.

The team he was trying to discuss was the TCU Horned Frogs.

The team he actually referred to? Well, that was a cross between the TCU Horned Frogs and Texas Longhorns.

“The Texas-uh…Froghorns, they’re a terrific team,” Kellogg said in an obvious slip on air.

Kellogg knew he made a mistake instantaneously, as you could see him grasping at the team name and pausing as he was trying to get his thought out.

Just chalk it up to another national television gaffe. It’s certainly not the first, and definitely won’t be the last.

Go Froghorns!
