Aaron Rodgers sent NFL Twitter into total chaos late Monday night when he broke his social media silence with an eight-letter tweet that didn’t seem to make any sense at all

Now we might know what the current Green Bay Packers QB was talking about in that very confusing tweet—and it doesn’t seem to have anything to do with his NFL future, which has been the sport's biggest topic of conversation this week.

Instead, it seems like he was goofing around with a Packers teammate.

The 39-year-old QB had everyone sharing conspiracy theories when he tweeted the following late Monday night:

What did that mean? Apparently, he was reacting to Packers cornerback Rasul Douglas, who claimed earlier in the day that he had the QB’s phone:

He asked fans if they wanted proof:

He led fans on a little more:

And then he had fun when Rodgers finally tweeted:

Did Douglas really have access to Rodgers’s phone? I’m pretty sure the answer to that is absolutely not. But at least we now know that Rodgers wasn’t likely throwing out any hints about his future, which hopefully gets sorted out soon because this is all getting a bit old.
