Kevin Durant Reveals Where He Thinks Bronny James Will Go to College
Bronny James remains uncommitted when it comes to his basketball future. LeBron James’s son is widely expected to go the college route, an avenue which was encouraged for the 18-year-old by Suns star Kevin Durant.
During a recent episode of The etcs with Boardroom, Durant recently discussed Bronny’s basketball future, and honed in on what college he thinks the elder James son will choose.
After the idea of Bronny playing basketball at USC was floated by his co-host, Durant admitted that the Trojans were the program he had in mind.
“That’s what my guess was, too,” said Durant of the possibility of Bronny playing at USC. “It’s going to obviously be easy for ‘Bron to catch the games if he’s at USC.”
Durant mentioned USC, Oregon and Duke as possible landing spots for Bronny, indicating that staying in-state in Southern California would be an ideal solution for the family.
While most recruiting databases list him as a four-star prospect, Bronny was elevated to five-star status by On3, who vaulted him into their top 10 for the class of 2023.
Durant expressed intrigue over what’s to come for Bronny’s basketball career, encouraging him to maintain the national spotlight by entering the college ranks rather than pursuing alternatives such as Overtime Elite, G-League Ignite or playing overseas.
