The great Charles Barkley is an Auburn alum, and if you know anything about college sports, then you know how big the Alabama-Auburn rivalry continues to be.

Barkley, of course, is now a professional broadcaster who often chooses to make predictions on national television, which doesn’t always go well for him or the teams that he picks. 

The former NBA great did just that before Thursday’s men’s NCAA tournament games began as he made his pick to win the the national title official

Who’d he take? 

Alabama. 

Barkley didn’t seem to enjoy doing it, and then fellow analyst Kenny Smith yelled out at him to say the thing Alabama fans always like to say: 

Alabama fans are now hoping the Barkley jinx doesn’t kick in again.
