Ken Griffey Jr. Taking BP at the WBC Will Make You Feel Young Again
When it comes to the sweetest swings in baseball baseball history it will forever be difficult to put anyone ahead of the great Ken Griffey Jr. on that list.
If you grew up during his playing days then that beautiful, left-handed swing is always easier to picture in your mind when his name pops up. Also, many of us olds probably instantly think of the Griffey Upper Deck rookie card that was going to make us all rich. Ugh. Thanks for nothing, fickle baseball card market.
But let’s get back to that swing. Griffey is on Team USA’s coaching staff at the World Baseball Classic and on Friday he decided to take some BP.
And you know what? He’s still got it.
Thanks for making me feel young again, Ken Griffey Jr. At least for a few minutes, anyways.
